An amazing piece of history & reasonable tour. Not cheap but it's easy to see why they have to charge so much to keep the staff interested & facilities maintained. Beautiful country once you get there. The drive out took just over an hour on sealed & lightly corrugated dirt.

Wonderful experience, just make sure to take the short way home not the long way through Opalton. We went the long way it was super hard on the car and there was nothing to see. It also took us 3 hours.

This was an amazing place to visit. The drive in was fantastic, be prepared for the dust though. A great tour through the facility and it was simply a privilige to be there. This is a must do experience for young and old. I cant wait to go again..

I didn't get there to see it! I've been looking forward to going there for years. Finally had the chance. Left the van at Winton, started the drive out there, couldn't believe it. The dirt part was rough as guts. 5ks in I couldn't handle it any more, turned around, hooked up the van and took off. Not even a fossil or rock. I was really p%££ed off. Would a grader hurt now and then. Road trains use the road for crying out load. VERY, VERY DISAPOINTED!!!
